The Dining Diva Does Cartwheels Over Morgan’s at La Quinta Resort

Your Dining Diva couldn’t get over how good the food was at Morgan’s at La Quinta Resort. It’s just about the best restaurant in the Coachella Valley– an area that includes Palm Springs, Palm Desert, Rancho Mirage, Indian Welles, Indio– about 120 miles from Los Angeles. (That’s moi enjoying the meal)

The rustic, hacienda-style room evokes the history of the legendary hotel that originally opened in 1926 and has the distinction of being the first hotel to have a town named after it.

The warm, rustic, hacienda-style setting, which reflects the legenday 84-year-old hotel’s history, is a perfect showcase for Schmidt’s culinary talents. Perfectly prepared with natural flavors, herbs and light spices. My tender, juicy filet melted in mouth.

Grilled asparagus were amazing and so was the ahi tartare and well, everything we ate.

Prices are high ,but reasonable for fine dining. For a full review that includes prices and details  please check out my LA Travel Diva Examiner column at:  http://bit.ly/2P9nFf
