The Dining Diva Checks out Henry’s Hat in Studio City

It’s a Bar, It’s a Pub, It’s a Blast….IMG_0517It’s Henry’s Hat in Studio City, California,

a new American restaurant and pub created by restaurateur AJ Gilbert and his wife Martha Madison.  The Dining Diva checked it out last night and her ears are still ringing from all the noise of  mostly young patrons having fun.  We’re talking amped up atmosphere. A much-needed entry in LA’s night life where bars are mostly adjuncts to restaurants. This place is mostly bar/pub with food as an aside albeit good with a menu created by Luna Park San Francisco’s executive chef Nick Cobarruvias. We tasted sliders, chili, cheese dips and other snack food and it was all tasty.

Only a few weeks old and the place is going gangbusters. Part of its allure is the youthful, atmosphere driven by lots of diversions such as 15 flat screen TVs, a projection screen, vintage board games and of course lots of beer.                                               The Diva does Henry’s Hat——————–
